Serious Chilli Con Carne

    1 hour 40 minutes

Yes this is hot but I like chillies. This tastes even better the next day so is ok to leave in the fridge if it doesn't get eaten all in one go. It also makes a good nachos or taco sauce.

    • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1 onion, chopped

    • 1 tablespoons oregano
    • 3 tablespoon cayenne chilli powder
    • 2 tablespoons cumin
    • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 1 (400g) tin chopped tomatoes
    • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 beef stock cube
    • 1 (400g) tin red kidney beans

This recipe was good for the sheer spiciness of the dish but in my opinion need a bit a tweaking to add a little bit more flavour. Not for the faint hearted!  -  26 Sep 2013  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
