    This takes the standard pasta bake to the next level with the addition of blue cheese over regular cheddars. Add chilli to your preference.

    Serves: 4 

    • 250g pasta
    • 30ml thickened cream
    • 30ml milk
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 handfuls ham, cubed
    • 150g Blue Stilton or other blue cheese, crumbled or cubed
    • 1 pinch chilli flakes, to taste
    • 1 dash Tabasco sauce, to taste
    • 150g cheddar cheese, grated

    1. Cook the pasta according to pack instructions and drain.
    2. Return drained pasta to the warm saucepan and add the cream, milk and butter. Stir to coat the pasta over a moderate heat.
    3. After the butter has melted add the ham, blue cheese, chilli and tabasco then stir to combine thoroughly.
    4. Transfer to a casserole dish or leave in the saucepan if its ovenproof.
    5. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
    6. Place in a 200 degrees C preheated oven for approx 15 minutes or until top is lightly brown and bubbly.
    7. Serve immediately with crusty bread or green salad.
