This is a great slow cooker recipe too. I added a chopped leek to keep he veg content up and used cannelli beans and a tin of chopped tomatoes. Also freezes really well so worth making in batches.  -  26 Jul 2011  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)

This went down a treat in my house. Had a really lovely strong smokey flavour and my son and husband even ate the red pepper which they profess not to like (I think they must have thought they were tomatoes!)I addded some water to give it a bit more sauce/gravy, will definetely be cooking again.  -  30 Jul 2011  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
