    1 hour 25 minutes

This is a lovely dense tea cake that is simple to make. It gets better with age; if possible leave for 3 to 4 days before cutting and eating.

This cake is lovely to make - very easy! There are no eggs in the recipe so it is good for a family memeber who is allergic. Made a few time and each time it doesn't last long!  -  20 May 2010  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
