    These meatballs are simple and perfect for kids. Serve with boiled white potatoes or chips and their favourite vegetables.

    Serves: 4 

    • 450g lean pork mince
    • 1 egg
    • 1 onion, finely diced
    • 60ml milk
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 tablespoons plain flour
    • 30g butter or oil for frying

    1. Mix pork mince with egg, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Add flour to stiffen so that the meatballs are easily formed by a spoon into oblongs balls. Do not over mix. Let rest for 1 to 6 hours, covered.
    2. Form the oblong balls by picking up mixture with a tablespoon. Place immediately on greased frying pan over medium high heat, turn from time to time, do not over-brown.
    3. They are cooked when slightly hard to a tap with a spoon. Remove from frying pan, let grease drip of on paper towel then place in a bowl and keep warm by covering bowl.
