These cupcakes are different in that they use cinnamon as the flavour and not vanilla. They are delicious and easy.
With my recipe I didn't use the electric beater instead I used a whisk to bind everything together.Second time round i deiced to put oats in it looks and smells amazing and add a pinch of sugar onto the top - 17 Apr 2016
This was the first time I'd made cinnamon cupcakes, and they turned out a little heavier and seemed not as sweet as vanilla cupcakes - almost as if I'd used wholemeal rather than white self raising flour. As the recipe says, it only makes 12 fairly small cupcakes (of the size shown in the photo). That said, they disappeared quickly. - 31 Dec 2016
I attempted this recipe a few hours ago, the cakes smelled wonderful! I increased the amount of cinnamon to 1 tsp and used butter instead. - 15 Jun 2012 (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
