Chocolate Biscuits

    Delicious chocolate biscuits for all the family as well as the chocolate addicts. So simple you will be wondering why you didn't find this recipe earlier.

    Serves: 10 

    • 220g dark chocolate
    • 10g butter
    • 80g plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 170g brown sugar

    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:12min  ›  Ready in:32min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
    3. At the same time in a small bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
    4. In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar.
    5. Add the flour mixture. Add in the melted chocolate and stir.
    6. Make small balls of dough using teaspoons. Place them on a tray covered with baking paper.
    7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven.

    I made these and they look nothing like the picture and they are over sweet, My friend who is a chef who watched every move I made when cooking these seem's to think you've possibly got the amount of sugar and flour mixed up.
