Chicken and Walnut Stir Fry

    One of my all time favourites. Very simple and really tasty. The sesame oil is very important as it gives the dish a lot of its flavour, I wouldn't recommend changing it for anything else.

    Serves: 4 

    • 500g chicken, diced
    • 2 tablespoons cornflour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 dash, sesame oil
    • 1 1/2 handful of walnuts, broken in half
    • 1 dash soy sauce, optional

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Coat the diced chicken in the cornflour and salt.
    2. Heat sesame oil in a frypan on a high heat and fry the chicken until lightly golden.
    3. Add the walnuts and fry until lightly crispy. Take care to not burn the walnuts. You can add soy sauce to the dish to caramelise the walnuts or keep it as it is.
