Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Wrap

A wrap version of the sandwich that my kids seem to like better. Sliced avocado is a nice addition. You can use other flat breads like pita and mountain instead of the tortillas if desired.


Serves: 4 

  • 400g bacon rashers, sliced into 3cm pieces
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad cream, to taste
  • 1/2 cos lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Place bacon in a large, deep frying pan. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain and set aside.
  2. Microwave the tortillas for a few seconds just enough to soften them up and make them pliable without cracking.
  3. Immediately spread each tortilla with mayonnaise, 1/4 of the bacon, lettuce and tomato. Fold sides of tortilla over then roll up.
  4. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Cut each wrap in half before serving.
