A great beer pie - leave yourself about four hours for this one. You can do it with Guinness too but found that it’s got a slightly more bitter aftertaste to it than the ale.
Loved the filling, very tasty. Not so fond of the pastry though. I think a puff pastry style - or at least something flakier - might be better. - 29 Mar 2018
