Baked Cinnamon Pears
This is a simple dessert that showcases deliciously juicy pears. Serve warm or cold with double cream or ice cream.

- 2 medium ripe pears, peeled, cored and halved
- 4 teaspoons butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons demerara sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons orange marmalade

- Place pear halves cut side up in a shallow baking dish. Place butter in the centre of each and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle over pears. Top with marmalade.
- Cover and bake at 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
