Someone gave me some pears from her garden but they were very hard. They tasted really good cooked this way.  -  27 Sep 2015  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)

Liked this, reduced the sugar and marmalade, still good.  -  08 Aug 2013  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)

This is quite nice and couldn't be easier but I'm not sure the marmalade adds very much. Given the normal shape of a pear, does anybody know how to stop the juices running off the stalk end and congealing in the tin?  -  07 Feb 2012  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
