This is easy especially if you can get dates already stuffed with nuts. I've used almonds, pecans and cashews - all work. This is great when you need an entree or finger food.
I used almonds and stuffed the dates myself. It was fiddly, and I suggest you prepare these ahead of time, put them on a baking sheet, cover them with cling film & put them in the fridge until ready to bake. Then bake for about 15 mins. They were an interesting taste, quite morish. I found wrapping them in the bacon quite challenging. Choose your bacon carefully with the task at hand in mind.. This will save you time when wrapping the dates. I saved all the little bits that I couldn't use and will make an omelette with them.. - 27 Dec 2009 (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
