This is a quick tiramisu dessert served in individual wine glasses. Great for a classic dinner party dessert.
500ml fresh custard
75ml brewed coffee, cooled
250g madeira cake, cut into chunky fingers
200g chocolate, coarsely chopped
50ml marsala wine
- In a large bowl, whip the mascarpone and custard together until fully combined.
- Using half of the madeira cake fingers, dip them into the cooled coffee and marsala. Then place them in the bottom of each of four serving glasses.
- Top with a little of the chopped chocolate, followed by a layer of the creamy mascarpone and custard mixture.
- Repeat the layers once more, finishing with a scattering of chocolate for decoration. Chill until you're ready to serve.
