An excellent cheap and tasty way to have sausages. Good for winter; serve with mashed potatoes for the ultimate comfort food with not much effort (or ingredients!)


Serves: 3 

  • 8 pork sausages (or more if required)
  • salt and pepper to season
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 600 ml beef stock
  • Gravox add to stock until you have a thick gravy

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:1hour  ›  Ready in:1hour10min 

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Brown the sausages,this can be done either under the grill or by frying them.
  2. Once the sausages have browned,put them into a casserole dish and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Put the sliced onion on top of the sausages.Then pour over the gravy.
  4. Cover and put in a preheated oven at 200c for 1 hour.
