This makes a wonderfully spicy salad dressing. It can also be used as a dip, or as a sauce for chicken or meats.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 20

    • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh coriander
    • 2 whole spring onions, coarsely chopped
    • 2 red chillies, seeded and chopped
    • 1 cup (250g) sour cream
    • 1 cup (250g) mayonnaise
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Ready in:15min

    1. Place lime juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, coriander, spring onions and chillies together in a blender or food processor. Process until well blended and smooth.
    2. Add sour cream and mayonnaise. Process again until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the container as necessary. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

OMG- loved this! I had to add a couple of cloves of chopped garlic. This is like a spicy ranch dressing. Going to try it as a tortilla chip dip next, with even more cilantro and jalapeno.  -  23 Aug 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

Yum! Used it as a mexican vegetable salad dressing, but I am also going to use it as a dip for Indian Naan Bread! I only used 1 1/5 jalepenos, but it needed 2. Also, I think it can do without the worchestershire sauce, and it needed plenty of salt and pepper. Thanks!  -  26 Feb 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

My husband & I loved this. Served it over sliced tomatoes & stirred some into pre-packed coleslaw mix. Also made the "spicy garlic lime chicken" from this site & we were dipping our chicken in it. We are trying to decide what we want to eat it with next. Thank you for the great recipe. It is such a nice change of pace for a salad dressing.  -  25 Mar 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
