    1. Cut boneless pork shoulder crosswise into 1/2cm slices. Partially freezing it will make slicing easier.
    2. In the slow cooker, combine sliced pork, onion, garlic, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce; mix well and cover. Cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender.

    Cook on the stovetop

In a large saucepan combine pork, onion, garlic, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and worcestershire sauce; mix well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until pork is tender.

Fabulous recipe - I don't have a slow cooker but followed your directions for the stovetop and then popped it in the oven for 4 hours - DELICIOUS. Thank-you soooo much Kimber, it was everything I expected plus some  -  19 Aug 2016

This sauce is excellent! I used a pork roast and didn't cut it up ahead of time. I just put everything in the crock pot and cooked on low for about 8 hours. The meat turned out so tender, i just shredded right before I served it - super easy!  -  02 Nov 2002  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

OH MAN IS THIS GOOD! I used a 5lb pork shoulder roast, doubled the recipe, put the FROZEN roast in the crock put and cooked about 11 hours. Shredded it and EVERYONE raved! Even my 12 year VERY VERY VERY picky nephew asked for seconds! I'm can hardly wait to make this again!  -  19 Apr 2002  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
