Easy Satay Sauce

    This is so easy to make for those unexpected BBQ's when you really don't have a lot of meat. But can make it stretch with veggies on a stick. Yummy too!

    Makes: 1 cup

    • 1 Tbs oil
    • 1 small grated oinion
    • 1 crushed clove garlic
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • 1/4 cup chunky peanut butter
    • 1 cup coconut milk
    • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
    • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
    • 3 tsp chilli sauce

    Preparation:5min  ›  Extra time:5min marinating  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Heat oil on medium heat and add onion, ginger and garlic. Cook 1 min, stirring.
    2. Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring. Cook 1 min. or until thick. Pour over cooked meat/ prawns etc and serve
