    Vegans don't need to miss out on this thick and creamy icing that is delicious on carrot cake, banana cake and pumpkin bread - just a few ideas.

    Serves: 24 

    • 1/2 cup (125g) vegan cream cheese substitute (like Tofutti)
    • 1/2 cup (125g) soy margarine or Nuttelex
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 1/4 cup (30g) soy flour
    • 2 cups (320) icing sugar

    Preparation:10min  ›  Extra time:20min chilling  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Beat the cream cheese, margarine and vanilla essence together in a mixing bowl with an electric hand mixer until light.
    2. Mix in the soy flour followed by the icing sugar until light and fluffy.
    3. Refrigerate at least 20 minutes before using.
