Asparagus and Parmesan Filo Rolls

    This recipe is so delicious, and easy to make. Everyone I have made it for loves it.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 sheets filo pastry, thawed, sliced in half lengthwise
    • 65g melted butter
    • 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
    • 8 spears fresh asparagus, trimmed

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat an oven to 190 degrees C.
    2. Lightly brush 1 sheet of filo pastry with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Roll 2 asparagus spears up with the prepared filo dough, and place seam-side down on a baking tray. Repeat until all the asparagus spears are rolled. Brush each roll with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    3. Cook in the preheated oven until the filo is golden brown and crispy, 15 to 18 minutes.
