Tarragon Green Beans

This recipe is made quick and easy by using frozen green beans and zapping them in the microwave with spring onions and tarragon.

Serves: 2 

  • 2 cups frozen green beans
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons spring onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon, diced
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar (normal vinegar if not available)

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. In a microwave safe bowl add the butter, sliced spring onions and green beans. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and piece with a knife in two places. Zap in the microwave for 2 minutes. Toss or stir and zap for another minute.
  2. Remove from microwave then add the tarragon and the tarragon vinegar then toss or stir. Cover again and serve within a couple of minutes.
