Slow Cooker Pot Roast
- 1.5kg roasting beef
- 6 potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups baby carrots
- 1 onion
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 beef stock cube
- 2 cups (500ml) water
Preparation:10min › Cook:6hours › Ready in:6hours10min
- Cut up potatoes, onions and celery in to fairly large chunks and place in a slow cooker along with the carrots. Put roast on top of vegetables.
- Place the the stock cube on top of roast and pour in water.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
this went really well, I used a beef roast , turned out spot on. highly recommend. - 26 Jun 2010
