Honey Oat Bars

    Deliciously yummy and extremely easy! Sprinkle some icing sugar on top after sliced. Great idea for a little treat in your kids' lunchbox!

    Ingredients
    Makes: 24 bite-sized slices

    • 1 cup rolled oats
    • 1 cup sultanas
    • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 1/3 tablespoons honey

    Directions
    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:1min  ›  Extra time:2hours cooling  ›  Ready in:2hours6min 

    1. Mix together dry ingredients.
    2. Melt butter (chopped) 40 seconds in microwave.
    3. Add 1 1/3 tablespoon of honey to butter and mix together.

    I also would like to bake this as it sounds like a tasty simple recipe but alas no cooking times........ i will make up the rest and see how i go.  -  02 Apr 2013
