Slow cooker beef in beer stew

This recipe is the result of various experiments to produce the best winter warming stew. Allow for overnight marinating of the meat.

I used a well known Sth Australian Dark Ale to marinade and wholemeal flour to dredge it in before frying and added 2 tsp of mixed herbs for the last hour.Also added some German dumplings.Very tasty!

This was an absolutely delicious, hearty winter casserole. My boyfriend loved it and it was very easy. Don't reccomend making it with a hang over though!
