Quick and easy to prepare and then put all the ingredients in the slow cooker together. Just leave and simmer for five hours. My family love this recipe, the chicken is cooked so it's lovely and tender and the garlic gives an extra great taste.
3 chicken breasts
180ml chicken stock
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
12 cherry tomatoes

Seal the chicken for a few minutes in pan with olive oil until lightly brown, then put in slow cooker.
Add the chopped garlic and onion to the slow cooker and then add stock. Pour in the cream and lightly stir. Lastly add the tomatoes; just place them on top of the chicken breasts. Pop on cooker lid and simmer for 5 hours.
Put on the cooker lid and cook on low for 5 hours.
This was great but i just added some mixed herbs parsley chopped chives, about 10 mushrooms chopped and 2 rashers of bacon.
i didnt have chicken breasts so i used a kg of thigh fillets and just used 250ml chicken stock and only 200 ml cream.. was so yummy. - 23 Aug 2010
I didn't have any cherry toms so substituted with half a tin of diced tomatoes. Cut down the stock by 30mls to counter the extra liquid. Absolutely YUMM. Lots of delish sauce which we had over mashed potato. Will do this again. - 03 Aug 2012
