Mousse Au Chocolat

    A delicious fluffy chocolate mousse.

    Serves: 6 

    • 200g dark cooking chocolate
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 2 tablespoons rum
    • 1/3 cup castor sugar
    • 2 egg whites
    • 1 cup cream

    Preparation:1hour  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:3hours chilling  ›  Ready in:4hours20min 

    1. Melt chocolate with rum and water in a saucepan over hot water.
    2. Add sugar, blend and cool.
    3. Whip egg white until stiff.
    4. Semi-whip the cream.
    5. Whip the chocolate mixture then gently fold in cream and then gently fold in cream and lastly egg white.

    Serving suggestion

    Pour into 6 serving dishes. Or serve in a large bowl.
