Seaweed salad

    This is a very refreshing salad or entree and an easy-to-make dish. It is especially good to eat in summer. Allow 3 hours to soak the seaweed.

    Serves: 4 

    • 100g dried seaweed
    • 2 cloves garlic crushed
    • 1 tablespoon chilli oil
    • 1½ teaspoons salt
    • 1½ teaspoons choped fresh ginger
    • 1 teaspoon MSG (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon vinegar
    • 1 stalk spring onion

    1. Soak the dried seaweed in warm water for 3 hours. Clean and chop finely. Finely chop the ginger and spring onion.
    2. Boil water; place the seaweed in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain and cool.
    3. Place the seaweed into the mixing bowl. Add garlic, chilli oil, salt, ginger, MSG, soy sauce, vinegar, spring onion. Mix together well.
