Beer barbeque sauce

    This sauce can be made a spicy as you wish by the addition of chillis or chilli sauce. You can leave the chilli out if you are making it for those not so adventurous.

    Makes: 2 CUPS

    • 1/2 CUP Brown Sugar
    • 1/4 cup Prepared mustard (Your choice)
    • 1/2 cup chilli sauce or a finely chopped fresh chilli
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 cup Finely chopped onion
    • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
    • 1/2 cup Beer
    • 2 teaspoons cornflour mixed with beer. if needed

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Mix altogether in a saucepan and bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes uncovered. If sauce is too thin thicken with a little cornflour and beer.
