I got this recipe from a girl I met at Mothers Group. She bought the muffins along to a morning tea we had. My taste buds were struck down that day and I begged her for her recipe. Never was there a better muffin ingredients marriage than bananas and chocolate. These also freeze well and I often include them in my kids lunch box as they defrost in 20 minutes. Depending on the number of bananas and their size, you will usually get more than 12 muffins out of this recipe - but thats never a bad thing.
Fantastic recipe. I have been searching for a banana recipe which doesn't turn out too dense. Very impressed. Nice and easy, my 4 year old was even able to help.
I created an account just so that I could review!
really good recipe...just right texture...does not need soda bicarb.....got 12 perfect muffins.....2 bananas just perfect!...thanks for this yummy treat!
Whenever I make these, they do not last! They are delicious and I find myself hiding bananas from myself so they will go back and I can make these haha! Instead of chocolate chips, I used just chop up a bar of chocolate and use a little more than a cup. It's delicious!
I accidently forgot the egg and didnt have very many choc chips (someone beat me to the packet) and they still turned out delicious. The best ever. I will keep this recipe and use it over and over. But I will put in the right amount of choc chips (I will hide the packet next time) Thanks Justine.
