Chicken and Vegtable Sausage Rolls

    A simple and basic but tasty recipe.

    Serves: 36 

    • 500g chicken mince
    • 1 grated carrot
    • 1 grated onion
    • 200g tin corn kernels
    • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
    • chopped parsley
    • reduced fat puff pastry sheets
    • beaten egg and sesame seeds to glaze
    • optional sweet chilli sauce for a touch of zing

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Combine first 6 ingredients and use with the puff pastry to make 36 sausage rolls. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
    2. Cook for 15 mins at 210 degrees C.

    Quick and easy recipe and the kids loved it! I just added some grated zucchini for a bit more veg (kids did not even notice).  -  20 Aug 2013


    Added a courgette, reduced sweet corn to a handful. Changed the parsley for coriander leaf. Plus a few grounds of pepper. Cooked some off the rest frozen for a birthday tea.
