Serves: 4 

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoons red wine

  1. Put the unsalted butter, the caster sugar and the red wine into a pot and whisk gently while heating over a medium heat till the butter is melted right through. Cool slightly, then whisk again and serve.
