Marshmallow sauce

    A sauce that tastes great served with chocolate ice cream.

    • 125g white marshmallows
    • 2 tablespoons of cream

    1. Put the marshmallows and cream into a bowl over a pot of hot water. Stir gently until completely melted and pour immediately over ice cream.

    Hot water didn't make the marshmallow melt, neither did a pot of boiling water underneath, and I was patient and waited a lot longer than the 4 minutes stated. We ended up with a sticky mess which acted more like flubber than marshmallow sauce. Not pourable at all. Disappointment all around.  -  16 May 2012
