    My sister passed this on when I went to visit her recently for the Jewish New Year. Very easy and a good guessing game as to its ingredients. Can be stored in cool place

    Serves: 8 

    • 200g soft butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 350g Self-Raising Flour
    • 1 cup Tahini
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:8min  ›  Extra time:2min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Heat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Mix butter and sugar.
    3. Add rest of ingredients and mix till soft dough
    4. Roll into small balls and flatten with fork, top with nuts or chocolate.
    5. Bake 8 minutes on a tray lined with baking paper.
    6. Allow to cool as it is quite a crumbly mixture
    7. Yummy and moreish
