Choc Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

    These are the quickest, simplest cookies that you will ever make and taste great!

    Serves: 18 

    • 1 cup peanut butter (your choice, smooth or chunky)
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 125g softened margarine
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 cup of choc chips
    • sugar, for rolling (optional)

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:12min  ›  Ready in:17min 

    1. preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Mix peanut butter, sugar, margarine and egg together until smooth. Add choc chips and fold mixture until choc chips are evenly spread through the mixture.
    2. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet 5cm apart. If desired, roll in extra sugar before placing on cookie sheet.
    3. Bake in pre-heated oven for 10-12 minutes.
    4. Do not brown, do not overbake.

    Super easy to make, definitely for the sweet tooth. They turn out very thin and large so maybe some flour in the mix would help? Will def make again for a special treat.  -  24 May 2011
