Preheat oven to 220 degrees C. Line baking tray with baking paper. Cream the butter with the caster sugar, add flour until well combined.
Cut into circles or squares, and fork the top if preferred.
Place on lined baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until slightly golden. Remove from oven and stand to cool.
This also can be transformed to other biscuit recipes such as melting moments biscuit base or really any biscuit base with use of imagination. You can add choc bits for choc chip cookies, raspberry centres and so on.
