BBQ sausage bolognaise

    Serves: 5 

    • 250g pasta (spaghetti)
    • 250g bacon pieces
    • 500g BBQ sausages
    • Full jar (500g) of Bolognaise sauce
    • a small tin corn kernels
    • a small tin champignons

    Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Extra time:3min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Cook the spaghetti to packet directions.
    2. Pre-cook sausages in frypan with a little oil.
    3. Remove sausages from pan, cut into pieces, put back in the pan and add the corn, champignons, bacon pieces and pasta sauce.
    4. Cook ingredients with any extra herbs and spices of your own choice for approximately 15 minutes.
    5. Serve on top of cooked pasta spaghetti with whatever side dish you choose.

    My 8yo loved this! I was out of corn so used frozen peas. If I did it again, I would use both! I used a bolognaise sauce that had mushrooms as I didn't have fresh ones. Easy, yum, and as nutritious as you want to make it!  -  26 Aug 2010
