After craving chocolate all day, this is exactly the recipe I was looking for!
Following advice from a friend, I tried this recipe replacing 3/4 cup white sugar with brown sugar, and added 1 tsp almond essence to give a deeper flavour. The result was excellent and not as sweet as other brown recipes I've tried. However, it did take 40-45min for mine to cook...is that possibly from using the brown sugar, or maybe I had a smaller pan than suggested? - 13 Mar 2010
