Abeille crème de pomme (French custard)

    A lighter, sweeter custard. One of my new recipes, this dessert compliments French cooking. Unlike custard, it is best that 'French Custard' be served mildly warm and in small amounts. Perfect for a summer night dessert, or even a light sweet at brunch. Abeille crème de pomme: Bee's cream of apple!

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 Apple (or pear)
    • 1 Cup of cream
    • ¼ cup of honey
    • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg

    Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:3min  ›  Ready in:5min 

    1. Cut apple into thin slices and put into saucepan
    2. Add cream, honey and nutmeg.
    3. Stir until thick, cream should turn yellow
    4. Garnish with cinnamon
