Milo biscuits

This chewy, choc-toffee flavoured biscuit has been a family favourite for years.

Ingredients

125g butter
100g white sugar
110g dark brown sugar
1 egg
3 ml vanilla essence
250g self raising flour
55g Milo
3 x 35 g containers of mini M&Ms

Preparation method

1. Beat butter and sugars until creamed.
 
2. Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
 
3. Sift flour.
 
4. Fold in sifted flour, Milo and M&Ms.
 
5. Roll teaspoonfuls into balls.
 
6. Place 5 cm apart on baking paper on a baking tray.
 
7. Bake at 170 degrees C for 15 - 18 minutes until golden.
 
8. Cool on wire racks
