Spicy Lamb Shanks

An easy and tasty dish to serve to anyone, guests or your family. Freezes well. My guests always think I have spent hours cooking.


Serves: 4 

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 rashers bacon diced
  • 4 lamb shanks
  • 1 tin tomato soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar


Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:8hours  ›  Ready in:8hours15min 

  1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low 8 hours.
  3. Stir occasionally if you wish.
