Spicy Lamb Shanks
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 rashers bacon diced
- 4 lamb shanks
- 1 tin tomato soup
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 3 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
Preparation:15min › Cook:8hours › Ready in:8hours15min
- Place all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cook on low 8 hours.
- Stir occasionally if you wish.
I've been looking for the perfect lamb shanks recipe and this was the first one I've tried. I found it to be quite tastey, but not quite the recipe I'm looking for. I will make it again, but will try a few of the other lamb shanks recipes first. - 19 Sep 2010
