    Adjust the amount of steak is to the size of the family; allow one medium steak size per person. You can vary the vegetables too. This can be put on in the morning and ready for dinner.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 medium sized pieces of stewing or rump steak
    • 2 teaspoons Marmite (approx)
    • 2 teaspoons brown sugar (approx)
    • 1 carrot, diced
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 2 sticks of celery, diced

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:8hours  ›  Ready in:8hours10min 

    1. Butter steak with marmite both sides and then sprinkle them lightly with brown sugar and put in the slow cooker.
    2. Add the diced vegetables.
    3. Slow cook on low for the day; 7-8 hours.
    4. Serve with mashed potato and green vegetables.
